  • HempField Aloha Hemp Shirt by HempHouse

Hemp House Paia is a distribution company based on the island of Maui, in Hawaii. They specialise in selling casual hemp summer wear for men and women, comfortable hemp footwear, and luxurious body and bath hemp products.

Their Hemp Wear aloha shirts are made of 55% hemp and 45% cotton. Due to this combination of hemp/cotton they are machine washable and can be put into a dryer as well.

A separate point must be made on the this because unlike many types of hemp wear these Hawaiian shirts don’t shrink when machine washed and tumble dried. In addition the material gets softer each time you wash them, but that’s the nature of most natural fibers. All in all, Aloha Hemp Shirts are great looking shirts for people with relaxed attitude.

  • Yaoh Organic Hemp Seed Oil Shampoo

Today we look at the Yaoh Organic Hemp Seed Oil Shampoo. This particular shampoo combines the moisturising and rejuvenating qualities of organic hemp seed oil with essential oils of rosemary, lavender and peppermint. This product is vegan, free from sodium lauryl sulphate, parabens, harmful substances and unnecessary chemical additives, and it is not tested on animals.

According to the producer Yaoh, a company based in the UK, the ingredients are organic floral water of chamomile, lemon balm, rosemary, steam distilled water, infusion of organic herbs (nettle, olive leaf, calendula, sage, lavender), organic aloe vera, olefin sulfonate, cocamidopropyl betaine, vegetable glycerin, organic hemp seed oil, sea salt, wheat protein, caprylic acid, glycine, tocopherol (vitamin E), essential oils of lavender, rosemary and peppermint, potassium sorbate, citric acid.

We have tested this product and can definitely recommend it. It leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised. The bottle is a bit small – 240ml – and it costs £5.95 (almost $10) when you buy retail, so it’s not a cheap product, but than again, you get what you pay for.
